BISS Dental Model-Creator incl. xSNAP®
BISS is the software for digital dental model fabrication. Easily and quickly create accurate, printable 3D models from digital impressions. Import open file formats such as STL, PLY and OBJ from a wide variety of intraoral scanners into the Model Creator. Design the scan data into a virtual dental model with an intuitive step-by-step workflow. You start with a repair assistant that cleans up fragments of the digital impression in a supportive manner so that the 3D model can be printed, milled or imported into CAD software without interference. Automatically or manually created supports are also included in the software. For example, it is possible to encode the bite and transfer the occlusion directly from the data set. In addition, BISS can be used to define removable stumps in the model or even complete segments. After purchasing the Milling Models add-on module, you can create a milling model from the previously defined stumps in no time at all. With the Implant Models add-on module, you can quickly and easily integrate analogs into your model and create removable gingival masks. An extensive implant library is available to you for this purpose. Automatic hollowing and the creation of drainage channels are essential components for saving material and thus money. Jaw labels can be easily applied to the various base geometries and are an aid to patient assignment. Progress can be saved and archived in a compressed folder at any time. Small articulator with a big effect
Jaw models from the 3D printer were previously only available with a clip-and-fold articulator, which enabled static occlusion to be checked. Natural jaw movements, on the other hand, could only be performed with the aid of a conventional articulator. The effort required for this can be saved with xSNAP. The 3D articulation system with ball head is simply printed with the models of the upper and lower jaw to precisely simulate physiological mandibular movements (protrusion, mediotrusion and laterotrusion). Now the xSNAP system is finally available in the form of a dataset library for the BISS Dental Model-Creator software.
Simple click system with natural jaw movement
The ball head on the upper jaw model is simply clicked into the guide element on the lower jaw model via a groove. The system is then ready for use. Protrusion and laterotrusion: The physiological movements of the mandible can be precisely executed with the xSNAP. In addition, models with the xSNAP articulation system can be opened by 180°. Thus, they are excellently suited as working models without having to separate the jaws.
Intuitive copumter-aided design
BISS Dental Model-Creator has already proven itself for the design of models to be generated on the basis of intraoral scanner data. With xSNAP for BISS, you receive the design data sets for the xSNAP 3D articulation system with different condylar path inclinations as a BISS attachment library. The joints can be added and aligned with just a few mouse clicks when designing the model. The process is intuitive as usual, as is the entire design with the BISS Dental Model-Creator software. This means you can continue to manufacture your models without any significant additional effort.
With the purchase of a standard license of the BISS Dental Model-Creator, you acquire a dongle-bound single license for the BISS Dental Model-Creator and the modules booked for it.
